Shinichiro is the head of LINE's AI company. Recently, he has been involved in building HyperCLOVA, a Hyper Scale AI centered on a pre-trained Japanese super large-scale language model like GPT-3, with the aim of applying it to sentence generation and interactive services. In addition to NLP, LINE is also providing AI technology that LINE has been researching and developing to improve the user experience, including speech recognition, voice synthesis and computer vision, to the 3rd party companies, eliminating the burden of life and work.
After graduating from Tokyo Tech, he worked at Oracle Japan, Roland Berger, and Microsoft as a technical evangelist. From 2019, he served concurrently as Assistant to the Government CIO and shifted to a Project Manager of the Digital Agency from September 2021.
